Filing week for the 2025 Clyde Hill City Council election opens tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Three council seats are up for election this year—one currently held by an elected councilmember and two held by appointed members. The positions are as follows:
- Position 1 – Held by Lisa Wissner-Slivka (appointed)
- Position 3 – Held by Brad Andonian (appointed)
- Position 5 – Held by Dean Hachamovitch (elected)
If three or more candidates file for any one position, that race will appear on the August Primary Election ballot. If only one or two candidates file, the race will move directly to the November General Election.
To be eligible to run, candidates must be registered voters residing in Clyde Hill and have lived in the city continuously for the past 12 months. Full filing details are available on the King County Elections “Running for Office” webpage.
We’ll continue to provide updates throughout the week as candidates officially file.
