Clyde Hill turned 70!

Clyde Hill just turned 70 years old! The Town received its name after a road — Clyde Hill Road (now 92^nd Avenue NE) — which was named after an area in Scotland called “Firth of Clyde” by a Scottish immigrant. Ken Day, who would later become the first Mayor, suggested this area be called Clyde Hill. The town was incorporated six years later, on March 31, 1953. Read the entire town history here.
