Early returns show a closely divided electorate in Clyde Hill’s City Council races, with 495 ballots counted so far out of 2,282 registered voters, a turnout of 21.69 percent as of Tuesday evening.
Council Position No. 1
- Lyn Adams: 238 votes (50.32%)
- Lisa Wissner-Slivka: 234 votes (49.47%)
- Write-ins: 1 vote (0.21%)
This race is too close to call, with only four votes separating the candidates. Additional ballots will be counted in coming days.
Council Position No. 3
- Jennifer Michelle Nelson: 242 votes (51.60%)
- Brad Andonian: 225 votes (47.97%)
- Write-ins: 2 votes (0.43%)
Nelson currently holds a modest lead over Andonian as counting continues.
Council Position No. 5
- Dean Hachamovitch: 311 votes (66.88%)
- Mike Minard: 149 votes (32.04%)
- Write-ins: 5 votes (1.08%)
Hachamovitch holds a decisive lead. Notably, Mike Minard, who did not actively campaign or submit a voter-pamphlet statement or photo, still garnered nearly 32 percent of the vote against the incumbent, suggesting measurable discontent among a portion of the electorate.
King County Elections will continue processing ballots throughout the week, with official certification expected November 25th. Updated counts are typically released daily around 4 p.m.
