Council Filing Update – May 6, 6:00 PM

We’re two full days into Candidate Filing Week, and so far, five candidates have submitted filings for the Clyde Hill City Council positions on this year’s ballot. All three incumbents—Lisa Wissner-Slivka, Brad Andonian, and Dean Hachamovitch—have filed to run for re-election. Two of them have already drawn challengers, setting the stage for potential primary contests.

As a reminder:

  • If three or more candidates file for the same position, that seat will go to the August Primary Election first.
  • If two or fewer candidates file for the same position, they will appear only on the November General Election ballot.

Current Filing Status (as of Tuesday, May 6 at 6:00 PM):

  • Position 1 – Lisa Wissner-Slivka (incumbent) vs. Lyn Adams
  • Position 3 – Brad Andonian (incumbent)
  • Position 5 – Dean Hachamovitch (incumbent) vs. Jared Wheeler

Filing remains open through Friday, May 9 at 5:00 PM. We’ll continue to keep you updated as more candidates enter the race.
