Clyde Hill council, mayoral candidates share their vision for our city

The Clyde Hill Coalition is a necessary watchdog on city hall. As resident journalists, we fill the void without a newspaper covering our city. With your ballots now in hand, we wanted to provide you the opportunity to learn more about the candidates. We asked them to respond to five questions.

  1. Why did you choose to run for council?
  2. What is your plan to solve the budget crisis?
  3. How would you handle conflicts of interest?
  4. If you could wave your hand and make one change to the city code, what would it be and why?
  5. What is the top concern you’ve heard from residents?

Mayor: Steve Friedman vs Unopposed

Council Position 2: Ashley Eckel vs Steve Sinwell

Council Position 4: Ryan Olson vs Mark Kroese

We appreciate all the candidates taking the time to respond thoughtfully to our survey.
